About this Course

West Des Moines Parks and Recreation and Polk County Conservation is committed to offering safe and inclusive programs that meet the diverse needs of our residents. This partnered program series welcomes adults who identify a LGBTQ+ but is open to all. Join our Naturalist Jess Lancial, and Heidi Anderson for this fun recreational series to meet, gather, explore, and play. All equipment will be provided, and registration is required. Kayaking/Paddleboarding: Meet at the boathouse at Raccoon River Parks (West Des Moines) and explore the beauty and wildlife on Blue Heron Lake via kayak or paddleboard.
