Location
Crossroads Park is one of the City of West Des Moines' most visible parks. Located along the east side of Interstate 35, just south of the I-235/I-80 interchange, the 17.17 acre park is clearly visible to passing motorists. Crossroads is also one of two parks that directly border a West Des Moines school that shares the same name as the park. Due to Crossroads Park's proximity to a school, alcohol is not permitted in the park. Facilities include: •A rentable picnic shelter with grill •Restrooms (open April 15 - October 15, weather permiting) •Play equipment •Six tennis courts •Large open playfield (Beginning in 2016, rental of the picnic shelter includes reservation of the playfield) •Softball field with skinned infield •Biking/walking trail •Skate park •Parking lot
