About this Course

The West Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department is committed to offering opportunities for everyday enjoyment in safe settings. For that reason, Illumifest is changing to Illumifest RevAMPed, a three-evening celebration of the opening of the Jamie Hurd Amphitheater. A WDM Community Band Concert, a public art reveal on the pond, ice cream and food trucks, lantern painting, balloon artist creations, Faculty Lounge, "Onward" on the big screen, and fireworks will all make these evenings ones to remember. Come to one. Come to them all. Although this year's events may look and feel a bit different from past years, we still think you'll have a lot of fun at Illumifest RevAMPed. 10ft diameter circles will be painted on the amphitheater lawn. Circles will be spaced 6 feet apart. Pre-register in order to guarantee a circle for your household. Face coverings are strongly encouraged.
