About this Course

The National Wildlife Federation’s Great American Campout is an easy way to get outdoors and enjoy the benefits of nature and wildlife whether you are a seasoned pro or a first time camper, and we want to be the first Great American Campout site in Iowa. So, pack up your tents, sleeping bags and flashlights for a fun night of camping! Activities will include nature walks at Southwoods Park, campfire stories, s’mores, a movie on the big screen, fishing, crafts and games. Evening snacks and a light breakfast will be provided.
